LOVE
Inside my mind whirl thoughts of love;
Inside my head,
Inside my bed.
Outside the snow-whorls coat the grass;
Outside is white,
Outside is bright.
I want my inside love to shine
As bright as snowy winter drifts.
And not to grimy slush decline
When woken by Spring's early kiss.
WAITING
The wardrobe is much clearer now,
The cupboards almost bare.
No clutter lurks within these walls
No shelf is home to knick or knack.
My life is laundered, so to speak,
Create a vacuum, then lie back.
And wait for good things to come in
And fill the gap, and fill the gap.
